Autumn is a dual-licensed men’s grooming specialist, with more than two decades in the industry. Autumn offers expertise in barbering and cosmetology services. Known for an intuitive understanding of men’s hair, texture, and maintenance needs, Autumn delivers clean, polished results that balance timeless technique with modern trends. Whether maintaining a signature look or refining a new one, clients value the consistency, craftsmanship, and personalized experience behind every service.

Lauren

Lauren is a dual licensed barber and cosmetologist with experience behind the chair since 2016. She specializes in classic cuts, precision shear work, and clean clipper craftsmanship. Dedicated to creating timeless styles with attention to detail, Lauren strives to provide every client with a personalized and comfortable experience.

Maria Dyer

Maria is an Austin native who specializes in elevated men’s grooming, from ultra-clean fades to longer, lived-in textured styles. Confident with both clippers and shears, she’s known for her precision, attention to detail, and ability to tailor each cut to the individual in her chair.

Maria creates a relaxed, judgment-free experience where clients can unwind while walking out looking sharp, polished, and effortlessly put together. Her goal? Hair that grows out well and keeps you feeling confident long after you leave The Nines.

Millie

Millie is a skilled hairstylist specializing in men’s grooming, recognized for precision cuts, and refined attention to detail. She delivers consistently high-quality results while providing a polished, professional experience.

Offering a wide range of tailored styles, each service is designed to complement the individual—ensuring every client leaves looking sharp, confident, and well-groomed.

CJ Schimmels

CJ Schimmels is a native Austinite, and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1995. Her background originated in Toni & Guy precision hair cutting, and has worked in several upscale spas and barbershops. Her experience includes owning an award winning barbershop in Houston, and has serviced several celebrities over the years. In 2014, CJ and her sister Kat, decided to start the process of opening The Nines. Some of their inspiration came from Austin’s Legendary El Rey Club, which was an Austin Men’s Barber Spa in the mid 2000’s. CJ’s goal is to make everyone feel relaxed and assured, while each guests hair style is created .CJ is a good listener, and works together to achieve A fitting hairstyle for each guests lifestyle & hair type. The satisfaction of the guest And their hair cutting experience, is CJ’s top priority!

Kat Lund

Kat is a licensed barber and has been passionate about men’s grooming since the beginning of her 30+ year career. As a haircutting educator for 20+ years she has mentored several very successful stylists. She was awarded Austin Chronicle’s “Best Stylist” award during her 10 year stint at one of Austin’s top salons. In addition, she has created and implemented multi-department spa training program curriculums. Extremely high quality services are a true passion of hers. Please note that Kat is no longer accepting appointments at The Nines.
